The Greater Salem Landlords Association was founded in 2007 to represent the interest of an otherwise under represented group of professionals. The goal of the Greater Salem Landlords Association is for income property owners to share personal experiences and, along the way, to pick up useful tips, while trying to avoid the pitfalls of being a landlord.
Since the Housing Act 2004, legislation has increased dramatically and landlords have found that they are more answerable to – and need to be more knowledgeable about – both local and state Government legislation. There has also been a noticeable desire to appear more professional. The Greater Salem Landlords Association's main goal is to support landlords by preventing them from making poorly informed decisions and help income property owners and managers to improve the quality of their properties.
Membership is open to all investment property owners and managers.
